Introduction:
This SMT DP port receptacle connector provides a 20-pin, right-angle interface for surface-mount PCB layouts. Packaged in tape and reel (T&R), it feeds smoothly into automated pick-and-place lines for high-volume manufacturing. Integrated locating pegs ensure precise PCB alignment and prevent placement shift during solder reflow. The nickel-plated copper alloy CS2 shell delivers robust mechanical protection and effective shielding. In addition, copper alloy contacts with 15µ” gold plating over nickel underplate keep contact resistance below 30 mohms under 40 VAC. Common applications include graphics add-in cards, industrial box PCs, video capture modules, and high-definition monitors.
