The nickel-plated brass shell delivers physical shielding against electromagnetic interference. Using UL 94V-0 high-temperature thermoplastic, the body maintains dimensional stability during wave soldering and runs stably from -40°C to +85°C. Phosphor bronze contacts with gold flash over nickel keep contact resistance under 30 mohms at 0.5 A.
