Introduction:
This Mini DisplayPort receptacle connector provides a 20-pin, right-angle interface designed for horizontal PCB integration. Supplied in tape and reel (TR) packaging, it supports automated placement while featuring 3.2mm solder tails specifically dimensioned for 0.091″ (2.3 mm) thick circuit boards. The nickel-plated brass shell ensures structural strength and shields high-speed video channels against electromagnetic interference. Built with UL 94V-0 rated high-temperature thermoplastic, the body withstands wave soldering temperatures without warping, operating reliably from -40°C to +85°C. In addition, phosphor bronze contacts with gold flash over nickel maintain contact resistance below 30 mohms under a 0.5 A current rating. Common applications include multi-display graphics boards, embedded computing systems, medical diagnostic monitors, and industrial imaging hardware.
