JVPX Series Robust High Speed Backplane Connectors
Introduction:
JVPX series robust high-speed backplane connectors aim to improve mechanical and electrical performances. We designed them based on the VPX (VITA 46) bus-printed circuit connectors. They will ensure the integration of transmission of multiple types of signals (differential, single-ended, optical, RF, etc.) or power.
The VPX (VITA 46) connectors, with data rates of 6.25Gbps to 25Gbps, is used in a wide range of applications, including defense and aerospace, radar, sonar, and video image processing. However, it is becoming increasingly insufficient to meet the growing demand for better performance in harsher conditions.
JVPX connectors have an additional metal housing compared to the VPX (VITA 46) connectors. They have a higher level of integration of numerous modules, including turntable accessories, digital, optical, and power modules. These connectors feature high reliability, multiple functionalities, and modularization. So, they are the ideal solution for next-generation radar control systems, military information networks, high-speed communication systems, and power supplies.

- Mechanical resistance: Random vibration, 0.2 g²/Hz (28.4g rms);
- Electromagnetic resistance: Interconnect system is completely insulated by the metal housing;
- Environmental seal: The plug structure is integrally sealed, making it easier for the user to seal the mating surface of modules;
- Positioning and polarization: Integrative processing ensures high precision, mismatch-proof keys, and field adjustment;
- High transmission speed: 6.25 Gbps (differential signal contact);
- Frequency: DC-40GHz (coaxial contact);
- Operational current: Single point operational current 46A+ (8# low frequency contact);
- Optical signal transmission: Optional single-point optical contact and MT multi-channel optical contact;
- Power transmission: 115V or 270V electrical power transmission;
- All (RF, optical, etc.) contacts for connectors with numerous types of contacts facilitate field installation and removal;
- Modular design: Convenient for choosing and customizing.
