Introduction:
This DisplayPort Mini DP receptacle provides a compact 20-pin horizontal interface designed for through-hole PCB termination. Packaged in tape and reel (TR), it supports automated production lines while utilizing extended 3.8mm solder tails to achieve deep, solid solder joints on thick multilayer circuit boards. The nickel-plated brass shell provides physical protection and shields against unwanted electromagnetic interference. Its UL 94V-0 high-temperature thermoplastic body withstands soldering heat and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C. Phosphor bronze contacts with 30µ” gold plating maintain contact resistance below 30 mohms at 0.5 A. This receptacle is widely used in compact industrial single-board computers, multi-display graphic add-on cards, embedded edge computing gateways, and medical endoscopy monitors.
