Introduction:
This DP female connector is a 20 pin surface mount receptacle configured for horizontal edge mounting on system boards. Supplied on tape & reel, it integrates seamlessly into high-speed automated SMD feeders for high-volume manufacturing. The assembly features mechanical board locks that resist mating forces, protecting SMT solder pads from peel stress during repeated cable insertions. Its brass contacts have 15µ” gold plating over nickel, keeping contact resistance below 30 mohms under a 0.5 A current rating. This connector is commonly deployed in industrial automation controllers, compact GPU cards, mini-ITX mainboards, and digital signage players.
