This thick gold barrier delivers superior fretting corrosion protection, extending mating durability in demanding deployments. Molded from high-temperature UL 94V-0 thermoplastic, the housing withstands automated SMT reflow soldering without warping. Surface-mount solder tails maintain precise coplanarity for dependable board attachment. Operating across -40°C to +85°C, this socket suits enterprise core switches, optical transport nodes, and telecom base stations.
