Introduction:
This 1×1 single-port SFP shielding cage provides secure mechanical housing for pluggable transceivers on communication boards. Fabricated from nickel-plated copper alloy, it offers corrosion resistance along with stable ground conductivity. Integrated EMI spring tabs maintain firm contact with the bezel cutout, sealing high-frequency leakage paths around the port opening. Through-hole solder pins anchor the body directly into the PCB, giving the assembly high resistance against mechanical stress during module insertion. The cage functions continuously across temperatures from -40°C to +85°C. These qualities suit optical line cards, industrial gateways, and telecommunication switches.
