Introduction:
Heavy-duty connectors (HDC) use strong aluminum or thermoplastic housings to protect against dust, moisture and mechanical stress. They consist of five main components: housing, hood, inserts, contacts and cable glands. Modular and monolithic inserts combine power, signal, data and pneumatic lines in one connector to save space in control cabinets. Flexible cable outlet directions and hoods for large-diameter cables also help with wiring in tight spaces.
The HE series heavy duty connector features a high construction housing and hood design. This provides extra internal space for easier wiring and cable management. The assembly includes a surface mounting base that installs directly on flat walls. It offers a reliable 6+PE configuration with a rating of 16A and 500V. The screw terminal inserts allow you to connect wires quickly using just a screwdriver. You do not need any special crimping tools. The hood supports top or side cable entry to suit your system. A single locking lever keeps the connection secure.
