Introduction:
Heavy-duty connectors (HDC) use strong aluminum or thermoplastic housings to protect against dust, moisture and mechanical stress. They consist of five main components: housing, hood, inserts, contacts and cable glands. Modular and monolithic inserts combine power, signal, data and pneumatic lines in one connector to save space in control cabinets. Flexible cable outlet directions and hoods for large-diameter cables also help with wiring in tight spaces.
The HE series heavy duty connector ensures maximum stability for wall-mounted systems. It utilizes a surface mounting base equipped with two locking levers. This double lock system keeps the large housing secure against strong vibration. The assembly accommodates a high-density 32+PE configuration by combining two 16-pin inserts side by side. You can install the unit directly on flat surfaces without cutting panel holes. Wiring is simple using the screw terminal technology. It handles 16A and 250V loads efficiently. The hood supports top or side cable entry.
