This 200 AMP load break elbow connector is a fully shielded and insulated plug-in termination. We have specifically engineered it for connecting underground cables to the distribution power system. You can use it for pad-mounted transformers, surrounding power supply branch boxes, and cable branch boxes equipped with load break bushings. The crucial components of all load-break connections are the elbow connector and bushing insert.
This connector is compatible with a 200A bushing insert and the 200A jack of the T-11 connector, as well as the 200A junction, load break bushing insert (load break rotatable feed-thru insert), apparatus bushing, and the 600A/200A bushing extender. You can use it to handle a switch operation with a loading current of 200 A. The incorporated test point serves to connect a hot voltage indicator.
We manufactured this load break elbow connector using high-quality sulfur-cured insulating and semi-conductive EPDM rubber. It is suitable for conductors with a cross-section ranging from 35-500 mm² for 15kV cables. Additionally, the conductive pole features an ARC extinguishing function.
