Fiberglass antenna is made of fiberglass material. FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plasticis) a lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant material.

The Fiberglass antenna adopts high temperature and high pressure film pressure technology. It has the characteristics of no deformation, waterproof, windproof, heat resistance, and strong sealing. Therefore, with good compatibility, stable signal, convenient installation and wide application.

It is widely used in electricity, rail transportation, ocean and maritime applications, energy, transport infrastructure, electric vehicles, water supply and drainage treatment, video surveillance, network security, construction technology, smart cities, system manufacturing and other fields.

What is Fiberglass Material?

SMC, or sheet molding compound, is made of unsaturated polyester resin, glass fiber twist-free roving, and other matching materials made into sheets by special equipment SMC molding unit, and then thickened, cut, and put into metal pair mold by high temperature and high pressure curing and made.

Fiberglass Antenna Features

1. Anti-corrosion

The traditional antenna uses aluminum plate, steel plate and other metal materials, in acid, alkali, salt, and even corrosion resistance, not as good as the non-metallic medium composite material SMC.

2. Long Service Life

The life expectancy of Fiberglass Antennas is generally over 15 years.

3. High Wind Resistance

Because the antenna reflex surface has designed multiple vertical and ring rib structures during the formation process. Based on the structural strength, the Fiberglass antenna can withstand the wind load of up to 45 m/s, which shows its excellent structural strength. They are capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions, including high winds, rain, and extreme temperatures.

4. Reflective Layer Technology

The reflective surface of Fiberglass antenna uses metal aluminum mesh as the reflective layer of electromagnetic waves, and the finished antenna with aluminum mesh evenly pre-buried under the surface SMC, which can reflect electromagnetic waves and isolate the atmosphere, playing a good protective role.

5. Easy to Transport and Install

Because Fiberglass antenna adopts high temperature and high pressure film pressing technology. Its material characteristics and processing technology, determine the Fiberglass antenna has other antenna incomparable consistency, which not only ensure the antenna precision and high gain, but also very easy to install and debug. This eliminates the negative impact on satellite receiving system due to antenna deformation during transportation.

How to Mount Fiberglass Antennas?

1: Use bolts, flat washers and nuts to install the U-shaped groove clamp plate on the angle arm base.

2: Install the upper bracket and lower bracket on the antenna mounting plate with bolts, flat washers and nuts.

3: Fix the plywood and U -shaped grooves of the upper bracket and the U -shaped grocery splint to the holding pole. Put the bolts through the installation hole of the above splint. And then insert a flat cushion and nut and lock the nut.

4: Tighten the screws of the lower bracket to adjust the antenna azimuth. However, it should not be too loose to ensure that the antenna will not slide down.

5: After adjusting the antenna aura angle, tighten the screws of the upper and lower brackets. Adjust the antenna dip angle. According to the angle label on the upper bracket, adjust the antenna to the required dip angle.

6: After the antenna installation is completed and the downward tilt angle is adjusted, tighten the nut at the node and use 6 fixed length jumpers.

Note: If there is no fixed length jumper on site, cut the jumper of appropriate length and make DIN male connectors at both ends of the jumper.
